MCargo Driver Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bunyod developer, operated by Xursanaliyev Bunyodbek Nazirjon o'g'li ("MCargo", "we", "us"), accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the MCargo Водитель / MCargo Driver Android application (package uz.bprodevelopment.mcargotrucker).

Background location: MCargo Driver collects and transmits precise or approximate location data to MCargo servers to show the driver's current or last known position on the dispatch map and coordinate cargo transportation, even when the app is closed or not in use.

1. Information we access or collect

Location data: precise or approximate latitude and longitude, including periodic background location after you grant "Allow all the time" access.
Account and profile data: name, phone number, Telegram username, profile photo, account role, language, and authentication information.
Transportation activity: cargo offers, proposed prices, vehicle or truck number, delivery status, comments, and related transaction records.
Communications and files: chat messages, photos, documents, and map locations that you choose to send through the app.
Technical data: IP address, request time, application errors, and security logs generated when the app communicates with our service.

2. How we use location data

When a driver affirmatively enables background location, the app periodically obtains device coordinates and sends them over an encrypted HTTPS connection to MCargo servers. The latest location is used to display the driver on the MCargo dispatch map, calculate distance to relevant cargo, distinguish available and on-route drivers, and help authorized dispatchers and managers coordinate an active transportation service. Location is not used for advertising and is not sold.

Background location is optional. You may decline the request and continue using the app without background location transmission. You can revoke location access at any time in Android Settings. Tracking stops when permission is unavailable or when you sign out.

3. How we use other information

We use other collected information to authenticate users, provide cargo listings, submit and manage offers, enable driver-client and driver-dispatcher communication, deliver files and messages, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

We may disclose information only as needed to operate MCargo:

to authorized MCargo administrators, managers, and dispatchers;
to relevant cargo-service participants when needed to arrange or perform a transportation service;
to hosting, infrastructure, file-storage, mapping, and communication providers acting for us under appropriate safeguards;
when required by law, a valid legal request, or to protect users, MCargo, or the public.

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

5. Data security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, authenticated access controls, role-based permissions, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account, transportation, and communication records while your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, and meet legal or accounting obligations. The current driver location may replace the previously stored current location; limited operational and security records may be retained for the periods required for the purposes above.

You may request account and associated personal-data deletion through our account deletion page or by emailing bunyodguru@gmail.com. We will delete or anonymize eligible data within 30 days after verifying the request, except information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legitimate business record purposes. Data retained under an exception will be isolated and used only for that purpose. Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days after primary deletion.

7. Your choices and rights

You may review or update profile information in the app, decline or revoke device permissions, sign out to stop background tracking, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about your personal data. Applicable local law may provide additional rights.

8. Third-party services

The app may open Google Maps, Yandex Maps, OpenStreetMap tiles, Telegram, or other external services at your request. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party services.

9. Children

MCargo Driver is a business application for professional drivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the application, law, or our data practices. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through the service.
